FLOWCELL — Low Moisture Slurry Material Transport

Goodson & Associates, Inc. (G&AI) FLOWCELL is a patented pipeline transportation process using air entraining admixtures to form durable air cells (foam) that provide a pumpable transport medium for granular solids. This environmentally friendly transport process, using biodegradable foams, provides economical transportation of soil materials without the use of a liquid transport mechanism common to typical slurries. FLOWCELL'S unique characteristics allow soil materials and/or soil-aggregate mixtures to be pumped through pipelines at extremely low moisture contents (typically less than 20%), and without free water. When the FLOWCELL "Dry Slurry" is discharged at a final destination the slurry self levels and within hours the foam transport agent dissipates leaving only the solids and a small amount of residual moisture. Some typical applications include the following:

Solids Transport
Mine Waste/Tailings Disposal
Mine Backfilling/Sand Filling
Mine Stope Filling
Sewage Disposal
